"Arctic LNG 2" - Metal products manufacturing workshop

As part of the implementation of the large-scale Arctic LNG 2 project, construction is underway on a modern metal products manufacturing workshop designed to provide the plant’s production sites and construction sites with the necessary metal structures and components.

Main stages of construction

• Preparatory work
  The territory was planned, foundations for the workshop buildings were laid, and temporary power and water supply lines were installed.

• Construction of buildings and structures

  • installation of metal frames for industrial buildings,

  • installation of roofing and external enclosing structures,

  • installation of overhead cranes for servicing production lines.

• Construction and installation works

  • concreting of floors and areas for heavy equipment,

  • installation of utility networks (electricity, ventilation, gas supply),

  • preparation of sites for installation of machines and welding equipment.

• Infrastructure

  • construction of warehouse complexes and storage areas,

  • construction of access roads and a railway line for the delivery of rolled metal products,

  • construction of administrative and domestic premises.

Current status

The installation of process equipment and engineering systems is actively underway at the site. The implementation of the project will allow for the uninterrupted production of metal products required for the construction and operation of Arctic LNG 2.
